Tri-State Museum is offering a new program, “First Saturday Brunch at the Museum”, beginning Saturday April 2nd at 10:00 a.m. The brunch is $5.00 per person or free for ‘Friends of the Museum’. This will be an ongoing series to be held the first Saturday of each month, and yes, it will be free to our ‘Friends’ every month.

The Tri-State Museum is open year-round. We offer many permanent exhibits as well as temporary exhibits and educational and entertaining exhibits. The museum is wheelchair accessible.
There is no admission to the museum; however, your contributions help us provide programming and new exhibits. Suggested donation $5 for adults. |

Upcoming Events
Thursday, January 26, 6:30pm - Three authors/poets will present book talks on their latest works. Gaydell Collier, 2004 Wyoming Governorr's Arts Award for Literature, has written a memoir, Just Beyond Harmony. Jeanne Rogers, author of the non-fiction Standing Witness: Devils Tower National Monument, A History, placed 14th in 2011 in an international poety competition. Patrici Frolnder, who has written a full-length collection of poetry, Married Ino it, was appointed this past November by Governor Matt Meade as the Wyoming Poet Laureate. The books will be available for purchase and signing, with the proceeds benefitting the museum.
Saturday, February 4 - First Saturday Brunch 10am - Authors Dr. Joanna Jones and Nancy Cartwright and Illustrator Bill Feterl will discuss and sign their new children's book Henry's Adventure at the Franklin Hotel. This delightful book tells the story of Henry who drops a key down the elevator shaft at the new 1903 hotel and presents many wonderful inventions from the turn of the 20th century.
Thursday, February 9, 4pm & 6pm - Joyce Jefferson will help the museum celebrate Black History Month with a first person interpretation of Lucretia Marchbanks, a "former slave who became one of the most popular and well-respected women in the Black Hills region." After school program for kids at 4pm and evening program at 6:30pm.
Saturday, March 17 - 7th Annual Tri-State Museum Foundation Banquet - Celebrate the "Psychedelic 60's" with us!
